Michelle provides the backbone to StepStone. She uses her solid experience in institutional accounting and reporting to direct StepStone’s budget and cost controls, accounting practices and reporting.

Prior to StepStone, Michelle worked for several fee management companies engaged by large institutions and fund advisors. Michelle was a project accountant at the Centerside buildings in Mission Valley where she worked through transitions in management from John Burnham & Company to TCW/CB Commercial. Michelle also handled on-site accounting at the Aventine in La Jolla for Tishman West and later for Cushman & Wakefield. She began her career at the Hahn Company, one of the largest regional mall developers in the country, where she worked in accounts payable and property accounting and reporting. During annual audits for each of these companies, Ms. Ramsey consistently earned excellent ratings.

Michelle is an expert with Yardi property management accounting software and is proficient at several other PC and mini-computer based accounting packages. She holds a California real estate sales license.
